Event Details
11th Annual Circle of Hope Footage...
The Circle of Hope is an educational symposium presenting various speakers and multi-media presentations designed to enlighten and inform community members on their role and responsibility in keeping children safe and raising awareness regarding the complex issue and intolerable rate of child abuse and neglect.
Please join us as we commemorate child advocacy and the organizations dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children. This 12th anniversary event will include speakers, interpretive music and dance performances, and educational materials, as well as an opportunity to connect with active child advocates in the community.
Coordinated by author and professor of child development, Dr. Kathleen Van Antwerp, this year’s Circle of Hope will offer profound information that all humans need to know and learn to apply. “The national incidence of children harmed or injured by abuse or neglect has more than doubled in the last two decades. We must respond now to this growing threat to the most vulnerable members of our society,” said Dr. Kathleen Van Antwerp.
